SMI provides Staff.Care customers who are using the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) with an integration suite which supports ESR’s inbound and outbound interfaces. ESR Staff and Assignment details are passed to Staff.Care which then sends back to ESR Time and Attendance data. These interfaces also support integration to other third party Bank, HR and Payroll systems. ESR Interfaces currently supported include: ● J-97800 ESR Generic TA Inbound Interface Specification ● J-120000 ESR Generic Absence Inbound Interface Specification ● J-151600 Generic TA Outbound Interface Specification

By integrating with HR, Payroll and other applications data can be captured once and used to populate other systems hence simplifying payroll and human resources administration and so reducing administrative time and costs.

If the Staff.Care Time & Attendance module is installed then actual attendance data does not have to be keyed at all so reducing and potentially eliminating errors.
