Pal.Care is a patient information system that can be configured for a Palliative Care organisation to meet their precise needs. One of an organisations’ core requirements is to be compliant with the National Council for Hospice and Specialist Palliative Care Services - Minimum Data Set (MDS).
Production of information for the annual report can often take days if not weeks of work to gather, collate, calculate and format into the MDS report. Pal.Care automates this whole process saving hours of administration and allowing staff to spend time caring for patients.
Pal.Care has a program specifically designed to output MDS information which is updated every time there is a change to the report format. They are laid out in exactly the way as required by the MDS in addition it can be run for services that are only relevant to the specific organisation.
SoftForms allow definition of forms which make data input quicker and easier. They can be set up to allow check box, radio button, numerical ranges, free text, notes etc. The data is held in the Pal.Care database for subsequent analysis and reporting.
Examples of SoftForm use are Admission/Discharge Forms, O.T., Lymphoedema, Physio, Social Work, Family Support, Bereavement etc.
